Dr. Giancarlo Giupponi
Giancarlo was born in Trento in 1967. He studied medicine in Modena from 1986 to 1993 and then worked for 7 years at the mental hospital of the LMU Munich Nussbaumstrasse, where he completed his specialist training in psychiatry and psychotherapy. He has been working as a senior consultant in the psychiatric service in Bolzano (Italy) since 2001. He qualified as a professor of psychiatry (II) at the MIUR in Rome and has written numerous studies, publications and books on affective disorders, suicide and ADHD. He runs the outpatient clinic for general psychiatry, ADHD and autism.

Mathias Kunze
Mathias holds a degree in medicine from the Universities of Sofia and Jena. He completed his specialist training in psychiatry and psychotherapy with specializations in depth psychological psychotherapy and behavioural therapy. He also expanded his knowledge through further training in conversational psychotherapy, dialectical behavioral therapy and various relaxation methods. He also gained an additional qualification at the Austrian Institute for Sports Psychology.

Maja Kaufmann
Maja has a degree in clinical psychology from UMIT University in Hall in Tyrol, Austria. She completed her professional training at the specialized outpatient clinic for ADHD in adults in Bolzano. She is currently a postgraduate student at the AETOS School of Integrated Psychotherapy in Verona.

Claudia Münch
Claudia completed her M.Sc. in Psychology with a specialization in Integrative Therapy at London Metropolitan University. She is trained in talk therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, somatic psychotherapy, couples and family therapy and has expertise in trauma therapy, MBSR, breathing and yoga therapy, meditation, stress and burnout prevention and nutritional counseling. She also has many years of experience in working with children and young people with an AD(H)S diagnosis. She currently works in her own practice for somatic psychology and integrative therapy.

Sophie Bethke
Sophie is a clinical psychologist and completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the practice-oriented Witten/Herdecke University, specializing in psychotherapy. As part of her master’s degree, she researched the use of virtual reality and artificial intelligence to reduce stigma towards people with psychiatric diagnoses. She then completed further training in systemic coaching. Through her many years as a psychiatric nurse and school psychologist, she has a lot of experience in working with adolescents and adults with ADHD. In addition to her work as a psychologist at GAM Medical with a focus on ADHD, which she started in 2024, she is involved in the development of tools to promote mental health.

Chiara Wick
After completing her bachelor’s degree in psychology in the Netherlands, Chiara focused on clinical psychology in her master’s degree. She then completed her licensing training as a psychological psychotherapist with a focus on behavioral therapy in Andernach. After gaining experience in inpatient psychiatric, psychosomatic and neuropsychological settings, she has been treating patients in an outpatient setting since 2021 and has had her own practice since 2024. Kevin Goretzki
Kevin completed his Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy at the Medical School Hamburg with outstanding results. His focus is on the diagnosis and psychoeducational support of adults with ADHD. Felix Huber
Felix completed his bachelor’s degree in psychology at the renowned University of Amsterdam and expanded his knowledge during a master’s degree at Erasmus University Rotterdam. There he specialized in clinical psychology and also devoted himself to research on traumatic experiences and anxiety disorders as part of his bachelor’s and master’s thesis, for which he conducted supervised scientific studies. Since 2024, Felix has been working as a psychologist at GAM Medical with a special focus on ADHD.

Kim completed her degree (M.Sc. Psychology) at the University of Regensburg. During her studies, she completed further training in mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) and trained as a yoga teacher. She has also gained extensive experience in the school sector, working with young people with learning difficulties.

Anja Lenz
Anja completed her master’s degree in psychology with a focus on work and organizational psychology. In her master’s thesis, she dealt with the topics of stress and procrastination and now runs a psychological counseling practice as a GKM-certified trainer for “stress management” and “good sleep” with a focus on stress and procrastination management. Sophie Lips
Sophie studied clinical psychology at the Universities of Tilburg and Maastricht and has many years of experience in individual and group sessions as well as psychoeducation on various (mental) health topics, including ADHD. Katharina completed her Master’s degree in clinical psychology at Goethe University Frankfurt. She already gained experience in ADHD diagnostics during her time as a psychologist in a psychiatric hospital. Katharina is currently training as a psychological psychotherapist at the Mainz Psychoanalytical Institute and works as a psychologist in a rehabilitation clinic, where she accompanies patients suffering from ADHD symptoms, among other things.

Marie Merkle
Marie is a licensed psychotherapist with a master’s degree in psychology from Saarland University. Her professional focus is on behavioral therapy, which she has applied in various areas of mental health. She gained extensive experience in psychiatry, in a psychosomatic clinic and in the outpatient treatment of patients with mental illnesses such as anxiety disorders, depression, addictions, eating disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder and ADHD. Marie currently works in the prison system, where she works in a social therapy department. Here she uses her expertise to address complex mental health challenges in the context of rehabilitation.

Lea Mertel
Lea completed her Master’s degree in Psychology at the University of Bremen. As part of my master’s thesis, she investigated the effectiveness of substance-assisted psychotherapy with psilocybin for treatment-resistant depression. During her studies, she was able to gain valuable practical experience in the clinical field through various internships in psychiatric institutions. In addition, she worked in the field of legal psychology during her studies, in the context of family law. Since 2022, she has also been working as a psychologist on a neurological and geriatric ward. Lea Roland
Lea holds an M.Sc. in Psychology from the Humboldt University in Berlin. During her studies, she worked in inpatient psychotherapeutic and psychiatric facilities and was active in depression and suicide prevention. Sarah Lindner
Sarah completed her Master’s degree in psychology with a clinical focus at the Karl-Franzens-University in Graz with distinction. Following this, she gained valuable experience working with children and young people who have an ADHD diagnosis or are on the autism spectrum, supporting them sensitively in their development. She also expanded her specialist knowledge by training as a communication trainer and personal trainer. In her freelance work, she regularly gives lectures on psychological topics at the adult education center and also leads sports courses there.

Gina-Marie Schroeder
Gina-Marie completed her bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Hagen and deepened her knowledge with a master’s degree at UMIT Tirol. As part of her master’s thesis, she specialized intensively in the topic of ADHD in adulthood and carried out independent scientific studies on the subject. Before her studies, she had already gained valuable practical experience in supporting people with mental illnesses in everyday life.

Amina completed her degree (M.Sc. Psychology) at the University of Heidelberg. During her studies, she trained in MBCT and third wave methods and conducted various diagnostic and therapeutic interviews on a systemic and behavioral therapy basis while working in a psychosomatic clinic and community practice. She is currently training to become a psychological psychotherapist at the Institute for Modern Behavioral Therapy in Hamburg.

Claudia Terne
Claudia studied psychology in Göttingen and completed her postgraduate training in behavioral therapy in Constance. In her current practice, she works with children and adolescents as well as adults. She has focused in particular on trauma therapy (EMDR & NET), grief management and ADHD. In addition to her practical work, she is also active in the field of (university) training and further education as a lecturer for various clinical-psychological/psychotherapeutic topics.

Annina Tonkov
Annina has a degree in clinical psychology from the Medical School Berlin (MSB) and participated in further training for systemic counseling at the Gesellschaft für Systemische Therapie und Beratung Berlin (GST). She revised a qualitative research paper on “ADHD in women” in collegial collaboration and attended a training course on systemic therapy with neurodiverse clients. She currently works in her own online practice as a systemic individual and couples counselor with adult female clients who also suffer from ADHD symptoms.

Lea Hemesath
Lea Hemesath completed her Master’s degree (M.Sc. Psychology) with a focus on clinical psychology and applied neuroscience at the University of Regensburg. During her studies, she completed further training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and gained valuable professional experience in psychosomatic diagnostics as well as in clinical research work on applied therapeutic measures in the online sector. Lea has also worked with children suffering from serious illnesses and has undergone intensive further training in child protection. Her experience in women’s aid includes accompanying and supporting women in challenging life situations. She has been working at GAM-Medical in a diagnostic and advisory capacity since 2024.
