During this consultation, we usually also arrange the first appointments for your diagnosis with us. Following the interviews, there will be a break of around 2 to 4 weeks while your assessment is carefully prepared by your psychologist. You will receive this report back in a so-called return interview. The final step is a diagnostic interview with one of our psychiatrists. In this final meeting, the final diagnosis is confirmed and, if necessary, the next steps are discussed.

Where do the questions in the test come from?

The 18 questions in our test were developed based on the ASRS V1.1, meet the criteria of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders DSM-IV, and identify the manifestations of ADHD symptoms in adults. The results of this assessment may indicate the need for a more in-depth clinical analysis. The content of the questionnaire also reflects the importance that the DSM-IV attaches to symptoms, exacerbation and medical history for a correct diagnosis. The Adult ADHD Self-Rating Scale (ASRS v1.1) and the assessment system were developed by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the Working Group on Adult ADHD.

“How accurate is the test?”
